. This is what we believe makes coming to work fun and our practice special! We have a great group of patients who have been with the practice for years! We have a small team of 6 that loves working together. We are primarily an adult practice with hours from 7-3. We offer mentorship opportunities as our current all star hygienist is such a great, kind and caring person...She's really eager to have another great hygiene partner to work with! Our practice will assign patients to a specific provider so that they can build a long term relationship and offer superb continuity of care. You will inherit a great patient base and have the opportunity to add new patients!

Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to maintain optimal oral health for patients of all ages. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions to develop personalized treatment plans. Assist dentists during various procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort. Take and interpret medical imaging such as X-rays and intraoral photographs, ensuring proper technique and safety protocols. Manage patient records accurately by documenting treatments, updating medical and dental histories, and reviewing documentation for completeness. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term dental health. Follow infection control protocols meticulously, including aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures, to maintain a safe clinical environment compliant with HIPAA regulations. Skills Proficiency with dental software systems such as Curve Dental for scheduling, record keeping, and documentation review. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical coding, and general dentistry procedures. Experience with pediatric dentistry practices and pediatric patient care strategies. Skilled in chairside assisting with a focus on patient comfort and safety during dental treatments. Ability to accurately measure vital signs and perform basic medical assessments in accordance with healthcare standards. Familiarity with infection control practices, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures within a dental clinic setting. Excellent communication skills to explain treatment plans clearly and foster positive patient relationships while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines.
