Job Description
New grads encouraged to apply! Seeking a Dental Hygienist to work part time or full time in our well established single dentist private practice. Office hours Mon-Thurs from 8am-4pm. Fun team to work with!
Duties:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
- Digital xrays. Also have a Dexis Nomad portable xray system.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide oral health instructions
- Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical history and performing oral cancer screenings
- Scaling and Root Planing and Perio Maintenance
- Administer local anesthesia as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the dental office system
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment
Experience:
- New Grads encouraged to apply
- Familiarity with medical documentation and record keeping
