Job Description

The position is for 1-2 days per week at a well established private practice located in Plymouth. Our office is a great place to work with many long time patients. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality oral care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and promoting oral health.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments.
  • Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of preventive care.
  • Assess patients' oral health and report findings to the dentist.
  • Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as required.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with regulations and policies.
  • Follow infection control protocols to ensure patient safety and compliance with health regulations.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.
Qualifications:
  • Registered Dental Hygienist (preferred).
  • Valid Dental Hygiene License in the state of practice (required).
  • Strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Working Conditions:
  • Typically works in a dental office setting.
  • May require standing for extended periods and some physical exertion.
  • Exposure to dental equipment and instruments.
