We are privately owned two-doctor family practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and maintaining the highest standards of hygiene in our dental clinic. You will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, taking X-rays, and educating patients on oral health, Your expertise in infection control and patient management will ensure a safe and comfortable environment for our patients. We strive to provide a supportive, fun, and professional environment for our team and our patients. If needed, we offer medical insurance with an HSA for our full time employees. We also provide a 401 k plan with profit sharing, paid holidays, and PTO to our full time employees. We take the team to a fun and professional trip every other year and cover the cost and also the cost of hygiene ce. We also have a yearly scrub allowance for all employees. Responsibilities Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patient oral health. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Implement infection control protocols to maintain a sterile environment. Utilize Patterson Eaglesoft software for scheduling appointments and managing patient information. Provide support in pediatric dentistry, ensuring a positive experience for young patients. Collaborate with the dental team to enhance overall patient care and clinic efficiency. Requirements Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Knowledge of infection control practices and general dentistry principles Experience working in a dental office or clinic setting is advantageous. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of dental hygiene.
