Job Description

Your Skills. Their Smiles. A Practice That Notices the Difference. Are you a hygienist who takes pride in doing more than "getting patients through the chair"? Moore Dental Arts in Flowood is looking for a part-time Registered Dental Hygienist who wants their clinical skill, their chairside presence, and their patient relationships to actually matter — because here, they do. This isn't just an open hygiene column. It's a seat on a team that values thorough care, real patient education, and hygienists who help shape treatment outcomes, not just clean teeth and move to the next room. If you're looking for a flexible 2-3 day schedule without sacrificing meaningful, high-quality patient work, this is it. What You'll Be Doing Delivering comprehensive, comfortable hygiene care — scaling, root planing, polishing, and preventive treatments patients actually notice Performing accurate periodontal charting, oral cancer screenings, and vitals that give our doctors what they need for confident diagnosis and treatment planning Taking and processing radiographs, applying fluoride and sealants, and administering local anesthetic/nitrous oxide (where permitted) Educating patients in a way that builds trust and drives real case acceptance — not just handing over a pamphlet Keeping your schedule on time and productive, because patients deserve a visit that respects their time too Playing a direct role in patient retention and reactivation — your relationships keep people coming back What You Bring An active RDH license and current CPR certification Valid radiology certification A commitment to ongoing continuing education Strong communication skills and the emotional intelligence to connect with every kind of patient Solid time management and a team-first, adaptable mindset Why Hygienists Stay Here You'll work alongside a team that treats hygiene as a clinical partnership, not a production line — where your periodontal charting is trusted, your patient education actually changes outcomes, and your voice is part of the treatment conversation. Competitive pay and a manageable 2-3 day schedule, with a Flowood location that's easy to get to. Ready to bring your skills to a practice that values them? Apply today — we'd love to meet you at Moore Dental Arts.
