We offer a flexible schedule and will work with the selected candidate to choose days and hours that fit their availability. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Verifies and updates a patient's medical history as necessary. Provides comprehensive preventive and periodontal care, including scaling, root planing, and polishing to remove plaque, calculus, and stains from teeth and beneath the gumline. Educates patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, disease prevention, and overall oral health maintenance. Performs thorough periodontal assessments, examining gums for inflammation, recession, and other signs of disease. Records and charts oral conditions, including caries, periodontal pockets, and other abnormalities, to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning. Applies topical fluorides, desensitizing agents, and sealants to prevent or arrest dental decay. Charts conditions of decay and disease for diagnosis and treatment by dentist. Administers and reviews x-ray technology to support accurate diagnosis and care. Administers local anesthetic agents in accordance with state licensure and clinical protocols. Removes excess restorative materials, such as cement, from coronal surfaces of teeth. Collaborates with the dentist and dental team to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care. Schedules appointments and enters appointment date and time into Dentrix. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree or Associates Degree from accredited university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of dental practice software, such as

Montana Registered Dental Hygienist License (Required)
