This role offers incredible earning potential for a clinician who excels at patient retention, treatment acceptance, and efficient care, as compensation is directly tied to your results.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform dental hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis, SRP, periodontal maintenance
  • Take dental x-rays
  • Conduct oral cancer screenings and other dental assessments
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for dental care
  • Administer local anesthesia (if certified)
  • Assist the dentist during procedures if needed and maintain a sterile working environment
  • Document patient treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information into Eaglesoft
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective patient care
Skills:
  • Valid state dental hygiene license
  • Proficiency in medical coding and billing procedures
  • Experience with electronic health record systems such as Eaglesoft
  • Strong communication skills to effectively educate and communicate with patients
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records
  • Knowledge of infection control protocols and practices
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
