OVERVIEW
Camino Salud is seeking a compassionate and skilled Bilingual Dental Hygienist (English/Spanish) to join our growing dental team in Charlotte, North Carolina. As a nonprofit community health organization, we are committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered dental care to individuals and families from diverse backgrounds. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform comprehensive dental hygiene assessments. Provide adult and pediatric prophylaxis. Perform scaling and root planing. Take and interpret digital radiographs. Complete periodontal charting and assessments. Apply fluoride treatments and dental sealants. Conduct oral cancer screenings. Educate patients on oral hygiene, nutrition, and preventive care. Accurately document treatment in the electronic dental record. Collaborate with dentists and the clinical team to develop treatment plans. Maintain OSHA, CDC, and HIPAA compliance. Deliver exceptional customer service while communicating effectively in both English and Spanish.
REQUIREMENTS
Current North Carolina Dental Hygienist License in good standing. Current CPR/BLS certification. Fluency in English and Spanish. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong commitment to patient-centered care. Preferred Local anesthesia certification. Nitrous oxide monitoring certification. Experience with Epic, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or similar electronic dental records. Community health or nonprofit experience.
Pay:
$100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
