The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and providing exceptional care to our patients. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality care in a friendly and professional environment. Responsibilities Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate records in the dental office systems. Assist in the management of infection control protocols and ensure compliance with aseptic techniques. Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive patient care. Stay updated on dental terminology and advancements in dental practices. Requirements Office hours are typically Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 8-5. Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dentistry and familiarity with infection control standards. Experience working in a dental clinic or office setting is preferred. Strong understanding of dental terminology and medical coding practices. Ability to work effectively with patients of all ages. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage patient records efficiently.
