You will treat patients and promote good oral health practices at a thriving general dentistry practice in High Point. You should have knowledge of preventive dentistry, periodontal health and patient education. If you are a team player and have great bedside manner, we'd like to meet you.

- 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Tuesdays & Thursdays
- 8:00 am to 4:00 pm or 7:00 am to 3:00 pm Wednesdays 9:00 am to 5:00 pm or 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Busy two doctor private practice with two hygienists currently.
Fully paperless and digital with Ascend software, CEREC in house milling, digital scanning, CBCT Have a full-time designated hygiene assistant, so you can focus on patient treatment and education. Work alongside two experienced hygienists.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, removing plaque, and applying fluoride treatments
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide recommendations for at-home care
- Conduct patient assessments, including taking and recording vital signs and medical history
- Assist the dentist during procedures by providing dental instruments and materials
- Maintain infection control protocols and ensure a clean and sterile environment
- Document patient information, treatment plans, and progress notes in the dental software system (Ascend)
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care
Qualifications:
- Valid Dental Hygiene license in North Carolina
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
- Proficiency in dental software systems (Ascend) for documentation and scheduling
- Knowledge of medical terminology and dental coding procedures
- Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients on oral health practices
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
