Registered Dental Hygienist

Mitchell Family Dentistry is offering a position for a full time dental hygienist. The practice was founded in 1977 and comprises of three general dentists and four hygienists, as well as a wonderful team of dental assistants, front desk personnel, and an office manager. The procedure mix includes root canals, osseous surgery, third molar extractions, orthodontics, gingival grafts, complete and partial dentures, periodontal therapy, IV and oral sedation, and others. Due to the different procedures performed at our office, a front desk team member needs to be able to explain these procedures to the patient so they understand their recommended treatment. One needs to be able to multi-task and often have several things going on at once as it is a very busy practice with seven providers. Additional educational opportunities are available to expand one's knowledge base and training. Continuing education opportunities, including airfare, lodging, and meals, are paid for by the office as a benefit to the employee. Other benefits include paid holidays, paid sick days, paid vacation days, 401K plan with eventual profit sharing in the future, uniform allowance, bonuses, and free dental care less lab and material costs to your immediate family (i.e. spouse and children only). Additionally, the practice pays for 50% of the health insurance premium if you chose to be a part of our group health insurance policy.
