The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care while ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for patients. This role requires proficiency in various dental practices, including general dentistry, and sedation dentistry as well as a strong understanding of dental terminology and infection control protocols. Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patient oral health Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical histories Assist in chairside procedures, employing four-handed dentistry techniques Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality Apply aseptic techniques during procedures to prevent infection Collaborate with dentists in developing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs Stay informed about advancements in dental technology and practices, including medical imaging Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and experience: Proficiency in Dentrix and other dental software systems Dental imaging such as CBCT, Bitewings, PA's and Itero scanning Familiarity with dental assisting duties and general dentistry practices Knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and dental terminology Understanding of infection control standards within a dental clinic environment Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred Join our team to make a positive impact on patient care while advancing your career in the field of dentistry.
