$1000 Sign On Bonus! Live Oak Dental is looking for an amazing, motivated Dental Hygienist to join our team! We serve our community here in Sunset Beach with compassion and comprehensive dental care. The ideal candidate will have a calm, reassuring, friendly, and outgoing demeanor as well as possess the ability to multitask in a fast-paced atmosphere. Our dentists and team members all work together closely in order to exceed expectations at every turn, and our modern technology and comfortable amenities play a big part in creating an experience to remember. Dental Hygiene candidate must be detail oriented, have excellent communication skills, customer service experience and will work well in a team environment. The contributions of our team members cannot be overstated, as each one has a specific purpose and unique opportunity to interact with our patients and provide a positive experience in our office. We are looking for a person with extraordinary character, a positive attitude, very outgoing and passionate, enthusiastic, and respectful to patients and coworkers. Extensive clinical experience is preferred but not required, but the ability and desire to continually learn and improve is. We are looking for a person with interesting life experiences outside of dentistry, a well-rounded individual that can communicate and interact with patients both personally and professionally. Solid communication skills both verbally and electronically are crucial to this position. You will work alongside the dentist to meet the oral health needs of our patients by providing preventative dental care and educating patients on ways to maintain and improve good oral health. This is a full-time position that comes with an excellent salary, benefits and opportunity for growth. Some private practice experience is preferred but new graduates are also encouraged to apply. All applicants must have a current North Carolina dental hygiene license. We are looking for someone with the following qualifications/attributes: Minimum one year of dental hygiene experience Highly organized Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Dependable and honest Outgoing and compassionate Excellent computer skills Works well within a team atmosphere Positive attitude This position includes medical insurance monthly stipend, dental care, paid time off, office bonus plan, 401k match after 1 year and a competitive hourly wage based on ability and experience.
