Job Description

We are looking for a Dental Hygienist to help treat patients and promote good oral health practices at our growing general dentistry practice in High Point. We focus on a fun and professional practice culture. You should have knowledge of preventive dentistry, periodontal health and patient education. If you are a team player and have great bedside manner, we'd like to meet you. About us Busy two doctor private practice with three full time hygienists and 1 part time hygienist. Fully paperless and digital with Dentrix Ascend software, CEREC in house milling, digital scanning, CBCT Will set up the hygiene schedule to help ease a new graduate into private practice. All of our new patient appointments are 80 minutes, SCRP are 80 minutes, recare appointments are 50-60 minutes. Have a full time designated hygiene assistant , so you can focus on patient treatment and education Responsibilities Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history Use intra oral camera to educate patients Accurately record probing depths and recognize gingival/periodontal disease Perform prophylaxis and scaling/root planning Educate patients of all ages on proper oral hygiene, utilize intra oral camera for education Take X-rays Maintain documentation and charts on each patient Skills Proven experience as Dental Hygienist or similar role In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (eg HIPAA) Outstanding communication skills A patient and friendly personality Attention to detail Valid license to practice Benefits Competitive base salary with daily bonus.
