The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while promoting good oral health practices. This role requires a thorough understanding of dental hygiene procedures, patient assessment, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dental office environment. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and performing oral examinations. Provide preventive dental care, including cleanings, scaling, and polishing teeth. Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and the importance of maintaining good dental health. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Record vital signs and maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental software systems. Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with infection control protocols. Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies. Experience Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist in a clinical setting is preferred. Familiarity with general dentistry practices and dental terminology is essential. Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus. Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental office management software is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating professionalism at all times.
