Pogoda Dental Studio is a privately owned general and cosmetic dental practice in Freehold, NJ. We are looking for a friendly, motivated, and clinically strong Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. Our practice combines long-standing patient relationships with a modern approach to dentistry. We recently updated and renovated the office and continue to invest in technology, patient experience, and expanding the preventive services offered through our hygiene department. This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced hygienist or a motivated newer graduate who wants to continue developing clinically in a supportive private-practice environment. What You'll Do Provide comprehensive preventive dental hygiene care Perform periodontal assessments and identify appropriate periodontal treatment Provide scaling and root planing when clinically indicated Educate patients about periodontal health and home care Take digital radiographs Apply fluoride varnish and other preventive treatments Discuss appropriate preventive and elective services with patients Assist with whitening, nightguards, and other hygiene-related services Use digital technology including iTero scanning Maintain accurate clinical documentation Work closely with Dr. Pogoda and the rest of our dental team to provide an excellent patient experience What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is compassionate with patients but also confident clinically. The ideal hygienist is comfortable educating patients, recognizing periodontal disease, recommending appropriate treatment, and taking ownership of the patient's long-term oral health. New graduates are encouraged to apply. We are happy to support someone who has strong fundamentals and wants to continue learning. Schedule Part-time, approximately 2-3 days per week initially, with the possibility of additional days as the schedule grows. Limited Saturday availability may occasionally be available. Compensation $45-$55 per hour based on experience and clinical background, with additional production-based compensation opportunity.
