Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, and current dental concerns Take medical imaging such as X-rays, ensuring proper technique and patient safety Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, treatment notes, and medical histories in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Eaglesoft Follow infection control protocols, including aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures, to ensure a safe clinical environment Requirements Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice in a clinical setting Proven experience with dental office software such as Eaglesoft preferred Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and general dentistry procedures Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively Knowledge of infection control standards and aseptic techniques necessary for safe practice Experience working in dental clinics or general dentistry environments is highly desirable Join us in delivering outstanding dental care that transforms smiles!
