Dental Hygienist Job Overview:
We are a state-of-the-art pediatric dental practice in Tinton Falls. We provide detailed explanations, walk children through each and every procedure, and tailor each child's experience to meet their unique needs. Every member of our team, from front to back, functions as an integral part of this amazing dental experience we offer, and plays an important part of changing how our patients feel about coming to the dentist! We are looking for an experienced, energetic dental hygienist to help us build our patient base by giving children a pleasant and fun experience. We're looking for someone enthusiastic to provide excellent customer service and to work for the good of the team to keep the office organized and running efficiently. Office uses Dentrix Ascend. Responsibilities
  • Perform dental cleanings and screenings to identify oral health issues
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
  • Take and develop dental x-rays
  • Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants
  • Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to regulation
  • Provide support in dental office tasks as needed Skills
  • 2 years experience as dental hygienist preferred
  • N2O Certification preferred but not necessary
  • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good computer skills
  • Well-organized
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Willingness to learn Compensation is negotiable and competitive depending on experience.
