Per Year Description:
Join our healthcare team as a licensed professional providing preventive and periodontal care in a community-focused setting. This full-time role in Trenton, NJ, requires collaboration with dentists and support staff to enhance patient oral health. Ideal for those experienced in using electronic healthcare systems.
Requirements:
Perform dental prophylaxis for patients. Conduct periodontal assessments and charting. Assist with periodontal maintenance and patient recall visits. Administer topical anesthesia as permitted by licensure. Evaluate and treat conditions affecting teeth and gums. Explain treatment plans and provide oral health education. Maintain accurate dental records.
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Dental Hygiene program. Current Dental Hygienist license in New Jersey. Competency in preventive and periodontal dental care. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with electronic dental records preferred.
