Dental Hygienist The Laser Dental Group of Union Union, NJ Job Details Part-time | Full-time $52 an hour 1 day ago Benefits 401(k) Paid time off Qualifications Diagnostic imaging equipment Local Anesthesia Certification Care documentation Medical scheduling Patient care Operating medical imaging equipment Managing patient records Registered Dental Hygienist Full Job Description We are looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our hygiene department and treat our family of patients. We are a high tech General Dentist office, looking to provide comprehensive dentistry to the entire family. We are looking for a hygienist to work 8-1pm on Fridays. Additional hours may be available for the right candidate. Responsibilities Develop personalized dental hygiene plans for each patient Provide non surgical periodontal care Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontal disease Place preventive sealants Apply fluoride to adults and children Take and interpret digital radiographs and intraoral pictures Utilize Ascend in keeping complete charting and documentation Monitor oral hygiene supply Schedule recall appointments Ensure compliance with OSHA and CDC guidelines Must be familiar with digital x-rays, computerized charting and have a valid license to practice. Anesthesia license is a plus.
