Responsibilities Perform comprehensive preventive dental hygiene services, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, fluoride treatments, and periodontal charting. Obtain high-quality digital radiographs while maintaining patient comfort and safety. Assess patients' oral health by reviewing medical histories, periodontal findings, radiographs, and clinical conditions. Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, periodontal health, nutrition, and preventive dental care. Assist the doctor in identifying restorative, periodontal, and preventive treatment needs. Accurately document clinical findings and treatment using Dentrix . Maintain strict compliance with OSHA, CDC, HIPAA, and infection control protocols. Ensure treatment rooms and instruments are properly prepared and sterilized. Deliver an exceptional patient experience through compassionate, professional care. Qualifications Current Nevada Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license. Local anesthesia certification (preferred, if applicable). CPR/BLS certification. Experience with Dentrix is preferred. Strong communication and patient education skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Positive attitude with the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
