Our modern office is equipped with the latest technology, providing a supportive and progressive environment for both our team and patients. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages. Perform vital signs monitoring and medical imaging as needed. Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation review in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide personalized care instructions. Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and sterile environment. Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experience and care quality. Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and infection control protocols. Qualifications Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice. Experience in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry is highly desirable. Proficiency in EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix. Strong background in chairside assisting and dental assisting practices. Knowledge of medical coding, medical terminology, and documentation standards. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and assessment. Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred.
