Dental Hygienist (RDH)

• We are looking for New York Registered Dental Hygienist part-time ( 1 to 3 days/week).

Responsibilities:

• Perform dental hygiene procedures, including but not limited to teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing
• Conduct oral health assessments and screenings
• Take dental x-rays completely digital
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions
• Assist the dentist during dental procedures
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical documentation systems
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and high-quality patient care

Qualifications:

• Valid state dental hygiene license
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
• Proficiency in using dental software for appointment scheduling, charting, and billing
• Experience with medical imaging techniques and equipment
• Ability to accurately assess patients' oral health conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients on oral hygiene practices and address their concerns
