Dental Hygienist - ready for a change

A truly unique opportunity for a truly unique individual. Boutique, high end specialty practice treating TMJ disorders, facial pain, and sleep apnea looking for one new member on our exclusive professional team. This is NOT a hygiene job

• but is ideal for a hygienist who is looking for a new career path, or may be unable or uninterested in doing hygiene any longer.

Could also be done part time in combination with a hygiene job elsewhere. Our team members are respected professionals operating at the top of their field. The environment is calm and quiet focused on providing top level hospitality to appreciative patients with ample time and resources to deliver our best. In a typical day, the hygienist will see 6

• 8 patients.

She or he will educate them about their condition and treatment choices, teach exercises and other conservative care techniques, review and record their progress independently, and fit, deliver, adjust, and repair TMJ and sleep appliances. The role also involves assisting the doctor in interviewing and examining new patients, taking impressions (Trios 3D scanning), CBCT imaging, cold laser therapy, ultrasound therapy, botox, and other high tech, effective treatments (Don't worry

Serious inquiries only please. Strongly preferred (but not absolutely necessary):
• prior experience or interest in TMJ, facial pain, dental sleep medicine
• ability to type and use computer
• familiarity with Eagle Soft or similar management software
• willing to travel to Rochester one day per week (drive time paid at full hourly rate)
• prior lab work experience
• training in orofacial myofunctional therapy
