Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team on a permanent basis. Our team is made up of people who genuinely care about their patients and their coworkers. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dental care to our patients. If you are passionate about oral health and have excellent communication skills, we would love to hear from you.Duties:
- Perform dental cleanings and remove plaque and tartar from patients' teeth
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Conduct oral cancer screenings
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a dental office or clinic preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity
