Dental Hygienist :
Sidney Smiles We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality dental care and promoting good oral health. We have an amazing group of team members and are looking for someone who has a great attitude and is a team player. Position very flexible on hours. Must be a licensed dental hygienist in the state of Ohio. New grads welcome! Pay is based on experience.
Duties:
  • Perform dental cleanings
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
  • Take and develop dental x-rays
  • Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix
  • Conduct patient assessments including vital signs monitoring
  • Implement infection control measures and aseptic techniques
  • Assist with general dentistry procedures as needed
Experience :
  • Proficient in using dental software like Dentrix
  • Ability to assist with general dentistry procedures
  • Strong patient assessment skills
  • Experience in maintaining medical records
  • Prior experience in a dental office setting
  • Associate degree or bachelor's degree in dental hygiene from an accredited program
  • Current state license and X-ray certification
  • Excellent understanding of dental hygiene procedures
  • knowledge of aseptic and sterilization techniques
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
