Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dental hygiene, patient care, and clinical procedures, with a focus on promoting optimal oral health. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in patient education, preventive care, and supporting the overall success of our practice. Responsibilities Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and polishing procedures to maintain and improve patients' oral health. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history review, to ensure safe treatment planning. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive measures, and treatment options tailored to their needs. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient records, treatment plans, and medical histories in electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Fuse Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed, including aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures. Collaborate with the dental team to optimize patient care, and uphold HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current CPR certification. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry. Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care; ability to educate patients effectively on oral health practices.
