We're looking for someone who values building long‑lasting relationships and is passionate about delivering high‑quality care to every patient who walks through our doors. General Purpose The Registered Dental Hygienist will clean teeth and examine oral areas, head, and neck for signs of oral disease. The position also educates patients on oral hygiene, takes and develops x-rays, and applies fluoride or sealants.
Responsibilities include:
Essential Functions:
Provide exceptional dental care to patients. Educate patients for dental health and total wellness. Clean and polish removable appliances. Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients at each appointment. Record treatment information in patient records. Must always represent the practice in a professional, pleasant, and cooperative manner. Must be able to work both independently and cooperatively in team settings. Other duties and tasks, as assigned periodically.
Education, Qualifications, and Experience Education/Training:
Completion of a recognized vocational program in dental hygiene. State License Required. Ability to attend to multiple tasks at the same time and to prioritize assignments and responsibilities to ensure compliance with established deadlines and protocols. Effective oral and written communication skills Key Skills and Competencies Communication skills - verbal and written Attention to detail and accuracy Confidentiality and discretion Team player Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of standing, leaning, and bending. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at time.
