Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team full or part time.
Available days:
Monday 8AM-5PM Tuesday 8AM-5PM Wednesday 8AM-6PM Thursday 8AM-7PM Optional Saturdays 8AM-2PM In this vital role, you will deliver comprehensive dental hygiene care, educate patients on oral health practices, and support the overall efficiency of our dental practice. Your expertise will help ensure our patients receive the highest standard of care in a friendly, professional setting. Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical history, vital signs, and dental charts using electronic health records (EHR) systems Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) ensuring proper technique and patient safety in compliance with infection prevention protocols Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral health Assist with chairside procedures such as applying sealants or fluoride treatments during general dentistry appointments Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, medical records, and treatment plans in accordance with HIPAA regulations Ensure infection control standards are strictly followed using aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures for all dental equipment Qualifications Valid license as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state licensing requirements Proven experience in dental office settings, preferably with general dentistry experience Proficiency with dental software such as Open Dental or Dentrix is highly desirable Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry Skilled in taking dental x-rays and operating dental equipment safely and effectively Excellent communication skills for client education and team collaboration Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times Ability to perform clinical duties efficiently while providing compassionate patient care in a fast-paced environmentPay:
