Full Job Description About Our Practice:
We are a small, patient-focused, private general practice in Havertown, PA with two dedicated providers. We pride ourselves on building long-term relationships with our patients and maintaining a low-stress supportive environment for our staff. Duties Perform comprehensive dental hygiene procedures including prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and fluoride treatments to maintain and improve patients' oral health. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories and current dental conditions to develop personalized care plans. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and treatment options to foster lifelong healthy habits. Manage medical imaging procedures such as X-rays, ensuring proper technique and safety protocols are followed in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient records, treatment plans, medical histories, and progress notes using EMR system. Follow strict infection control protocols utilizing aseptic techniques to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a sterile environment. Monitor and record medical information and other pertinent data during patient visits for comprehensive care delivery. Review documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with healthcare standards while supporting medical coding processes for billing purposes. Skills Proficiency with dental software systems for scheduling, record keeping, and documentation review. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques essential for safe practice. Excellent communication skills to educate patients effectively about oral health practices and treatment plans. Valid PA Registered Dental Hygienist license.Experience:

$50-57 per hour (dependent on experience).Benefits:
