Pediatric Dental Hygienist (RDH) Pediatric Dental Practice | Malvern, PA | Part-Time Little Bear Pediatric Dentistry is a patient-centered pediatric dental practice in Malvern, PA, and we are seeking a licensed Pediatric Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our collaborative, compassionate clinical team. This role is ideal for a hygienist who values prevention, patient education, and building trusting relationships with children and families in a supportive, well-run practice. What You'll Do As a Pediatric Dental Hygienist at Little Bear Pediatric Dentistry, you'll be a key partner in delivering high-quality preventive care and positive dental experiences. Clinical Responsibilities Provide pediatric-appropriate prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and preventive hygiene care Apply sealants, topical fluoride, and other preventive therapies Perform comprehensive hygiene assessments, including charting, risk assessments, and documentation Take and evaluate digital radiographs (retakes as needed) Educate children and parents on oral hygiene, nutrition, habits, and preventive care Collaborate closely with the dentist on treatment planning and follow-up care Maintain hygiene operatory standards, including instrument prep, sterilization, and infection control Uphold all clinical, safety, and compliance standards Practice & Team Support Contribute to a positive, respectful team environment Support colleagues when patient flow requires Participate in occasional community outreach or educational events (school visits, etc.), if interested Who We're Looking For You'll thrive in this role if you are: Reliable, punctual, and self-directed Warm, patient, and comfortable working with children Passionate about preventive dentistry and patient education Calm and adaptable in a dynamic clinical environment Team-oriented and willing to collaborate beyond your operatory Professional, ethical, and growth-minded Required & Preferred Qualifications Required Active Pennsylvania RDH license Preferred Prior experience in pediatric dentistry (a plus, not required) Proficiency with digital radiography and dental charting software Interest in prevention-focused care and education Schedule Full-time or part-time available Schedule aligned with clinical hours Flexibility appreciated to support patient needs Compensation & Benefits Supportive, family-oriented work environment Opportunity to practice high-quality, prevention-focused hygiene Stable, growing pediatric practice with long-term opportunity Why Little Bear Pediatric Dentistry?
