Job Description
Narberth Dental Group — an established, family-oriented, fee‑for‑service private practice serving the community since 1978 — is seeking an experienced, caring, and upbeat Registered Dental Hygienist to join our friendly and supportive team. We are a small, privately owned practice located in the suburbs of Philadelphia. Our doctors foster a positive, collaborative environment where team members genuinely enjoy coming to work. We value excellent patient care, long-term relationships, and a calm, respectful atmosphere. We do not participate with insurance, and we never operate with production pressure. Responsibilities Perform patient screenings, review medical histories, and conduct oral cancer, head, and neck assessments Complete dental charting, periodontal charting, and take x-rays Provide comprehensive hygiene care, including prophylaxis, scaling, and root planning Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, home care, and nutrition for oral health Maintain a sterile, organized operatory; prepare, clean, and sterilize instruments and equipment Document all treatment accurately in patient records and support basic administrative tasks as needed Assist with supply inventory, operatory setup/breakdown, and general hygiene area organization Qualifications Registered Dental Hygienist license (required) Xray Certification (required) CPR Certification (preferred) 2+ years of experience (preferred) Dexis and Dentrix experience (preferred) Candidates must be able to work: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays Alternating Thursdays and Fridays 32-35 hours per week Above is the preferred schedule with some flexibility Benefits 401(k) Paid time off Dental benefits Annual bonus What You'll Love 1‑hour hygiene visits State-of-the-art equipment A warm, upbeat, team centered culture A stable, privately owned practice with deep community roots
