The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, personable with patients, and a strong team player. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with dentists and other dental professionals to promote oral health and educate patients on proper hygiene techniques. Offering a bonus system on top of base pay. Our office uses Dentrix software. Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth. Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and performing oral examinations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, nutrition, and the importance of regular dental visits. Assist in the development of individualized patient care plans. Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Utilize Dentrix software for scheduling appointments and managing patient information. Assist dentists during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the dental office and treatment areas. Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies. Requirements Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health. Familiarity with medical coding and maintaining medical records. Experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred. Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is a plus. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating independence when necessary.
