Requirements
Schedule:
Part-time, days negotiable (9:00 AM
- 5:00 PM)
Licensure:
Active New Jersey State Dental Hygienist License (RDH)
Clinical Skills:
Strong attention to detail with a focus on comprehensive patient care
Patient Relations:
Outgoing, positive attitude with a passion for working with patients of all ages, including children
Communication:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including removing tartar, stains, and plaque from teeth
Apply preventative treatments such as sealants and fluorides to protect patient dentition
Assess patients' oral health, conduct periodontal charting, and report clinical findings to the dentist
Educate patients on personalized oral hygiene techniques, including proper brushing and flossing habits
