Dental Hygienist

McNeil Dental LLC, located in Fox Chapel, Pennsylvania is looking for a talented, experienced Dental Hygienist/RDH to join our team Full-Time! Responsibilities will include delivering periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services, Dental Hygienist are committed to improving the oral health of patients. Candidates should have good time management skills, be skilled in offering adjunctive hygiene services and be a team player who is willing to provide the highest level of care at all times. RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Dental Hygienist you will clean teeth and examine patient oral areas, head and neck for signs of oral disease. You will also record and review patient medical histories. Additional responsibilities and requirements of the Dental Hygienist include: Evaluates overall oral health, examining oral cavity for signs of periodontal disease or possible cancers, including sores, recessed & bleeding gums, and oral lesions Documents dental history or chief complaint; records and reports pertinent observations and patient reactions to dental staff. Following through with oral hygiene procedures in accordance with treatment plans prescribed by the Dentist.

Procedures may include:

Prophylaxis, Periodontal Scaling, Root Planning, Debridement, Application of Fluoride Treatments, Application of Protective Sealants, OraCare, and Perio Chip Prefer local anesthesia certified.
