We seek a compassionate and caring hygienist of character to join our high-performing pediatric dentistry team! Responsibilities, General Demonstrate and influence a culture of good team work to deliver an extra ordinary experience for every patient Provide exceptional service to our patients by making the patient the # 1 priority Participate in daily huddles with other team members to ensure every day flows smoothly Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance Follow safety policies and procedures through OSHA compliance and federal regulations Maintain compliance with CE and licensing Responsibilities, Clinical Welcome patients in the office Prepare patients for their appointments and ensure their comfort Select and set up instruments, equipment and needed material Provide preventive services to patients including prophylaxis, fluoride, radiographs, and sealants Sterilize instruments according to protocol Advise the front desk staff on patient scheduling to optimize clinical time Coordinate with other staff to ensure the clinical & lab areas remain clean and appropriately stocked Maintain accurate patient records and update patient database as necessary Accurately record and document diagnosed treatment plans Ensure dental equipment in hygiene bay remains serviceable and in good working order Skills Possess a teachable spirit - we all work towards the same goal and we help each other by exercising humility and grace towards our teammates Problem solver - through living a life of continuous improvement and deliberate problem solving, help each other improve our collective performance Proven experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, primary computer systems (EagleSoft, MS Office, Weave, Gmail, OperaDDS) Excellent communication and people skills Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable Education, Certification and/or
