Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. This role primarily serves our dental office in Quakertown, PA.
Job Type:
Part-Time (2 days a week)Requirements:
Licensed Dental Hygienist (PA license required) Prior clinical experience preferred.Responsibilities:
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and removal of plaque and calculus Conduct oral health assessments and document findings in patient charts Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as prescribed Screen patients for signs of periodontal disease, oral cancer, and other oral conditions Assist the dentist in diagnosis by providing clinical observations and documentation Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and preventive care Apply preventive treatments such as fluoride and sealants Review and update medical and dental histories Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory standards Monitor supply inventory and report needs for clinical materials Comply with OSHA, HIPAA, and applicable state dental board regulations.
