Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care while ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for our patients. The office is modern, with state of the art equipment and newly remodeled operatories, steri-centers and staff lounge. All hygiene operatories have a cavitron, and high quality hygiene instruments that are regularly maintained and sharpened, new x-ray sensors and nomads. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and vital signs. Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing using appropriate techniques and tools. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of maintaining good dental health. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Utilize Eaglesoft for patient management and documentation review. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques in the dental office. Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care in both general and pediatric dentistry settings. Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in continuing education opportunities.
