About us Overview We are seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our family dental practice in Aiken, SC. Pay Range:

$45.00 - $55.00/hour This position offers a rewarding opportunity for qualified professionals passionate about delivering high-quality dental care in a supportive team environment. Responsibilities and Duties Perform dental cleanings, including scaling, root planning, and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar Apply fluoride treatments, sealants, and other preventive materials. Assist with patient education on oral hygiene practices and treatment plans Expose digital dental X-rays with the Dexis computer Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, including charting, and periodontal measurements Document patient findings and procedures in the electronic health record (EHR) Review medical records for completeness and accuracy prior to procedures Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring aseptic technique Sterilize and maintain instruments and treatment rooms in accordance with OSHA and CDC infection control guidelines Education and Licensure Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program. Registered Dental Hygienist (Required) Active dental hygiene license in SC Certification in dental hygiene from an accredited program is required; valid state licensure must be maintained Experience Strong understanding of infection control standards, aseptic techniques, and anatomy knowledge Familiarity with dental imaging systems and vital signs monitoring is desirable Prior experience in general dentistry or dental assisting roles will be beneficial Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology

Compensation:

$40.00-$55.00 per hour, we are open to considering a base hourly rate plus commission.
