We are seeking a part time licensed Dental Hygienist with a positive attitude that can embrace teamwork and can convey genuine concern for patient care here at Redfield Smiles. Schedule:
1 - 3 days per week Responsibilities Ensure patients feel comfortable throughout their appointment Conduct initial mouth screenings and update health history Clean and help protect patients' teeth Educate patients of all ages on proper hygiene (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques) Give instructions to patients after dental procedures Take X-rays as needed Maintain documentation and chart notes on each patient Monitor supplies and restock rooms Sterilize dental instruments properly Help with laundry and other tasks as needed Be able to maintain a good work flow and stay on time. Help schedule recare appointments Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Treatment plan according to instructions provided by the doctor Be a team player
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g.
HIPAA/OSHA
) Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment Outstanding communication skills The right candidate needs to have a friendly personality Attention to detail Stamina to meet the physical demands of the job Reliability and professionalism
Requirements:
RDH Certification Radiology License Associate degree from ADA accredited dental hygienist school Current State Licensure CPR Certification Preferred one-year dental experience Certified in administering anesthesia #hc28065
