Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our vibrant dental team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional patient care by providing thorough dental cleanings, patient education, and preventive treatments. Your expertise will help promote optimal oral health and ensure a positive, comfortable experience for every patient. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup Conduct initial patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history review, to ensure safe treatment planning Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to foster lifelong healthy habits Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring proper technique and patient safety in compliance with infection control protocols Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix, ensuring HIPAA compliance and confidentiality Manage infection prevention measures by adhering to strict aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures for dental equipment and tools Skills Proficiency with dental software systems including Eaglesoft for documentation and scheduling Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and general dentistry procedures Ability to assess patient needs through thorough patient assessment and documentation review Knowledge of healthcare infection prevention and control standards, including HIPAA compliance management Excellent client communication skills to educate patients effectively while maintaining professionalism and empathy Join our team to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through exceptional dental care!
