Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical histories, and dental examinations to inform treatment plans. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using dental imaging equipment while ensuring radiation safety protocols are followed. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to empower them in maintaining optimal dental health. Manage electronic health records (OPEN DENTAL), ensuring accurate documentation of patient information, treatment notes, and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Maintain dental equipment, sterilize instruments using aseptic techniques, and uphold infection control standards to ensure a safe clinical environment. Must be proficient at scanning on Itero scanner Excellent & Gentle bedside manner
