RDH Leonard Smiles Overview We are a small privately owned dental practice in Leonard looking for a second hygienist to compliment our practice. We are PPO and Fee For Service office; No medicaid or state assistance programs. Hygiene is given a minimum of 1 hour for adult hygiene and 30 minutes for pediatric (age/behavior dependent); we are not accelerated. New patient appointment are staggered and cannot be the last patient of the day - we like to get out on time too! Hygiene is Monday thru Thursday 8 am to 5 pm (lunch from 12 - 1pm) only (no Fridays). All hygiene rooms have piezo units installed (including a mobile unit just in case). Our office uses Open Dental software, Dexis sensors, and we have Nomad handheld xray units. Duties We like to review our day in huddle every morning before patients (7:50 AM) so it is required to review your schedule the day before to make sure we catch any errors in scheduling or missing procedures. We like everyone to be ready for the day. Be efficient in full periodontal charting to include gingival margins and bleeding points on adult patients - office requirement is once a year minimum and at least every 6 months for periodontal patients (spot probing in between as needed) We are a family here and be able to help restorative if they run behind because they are required to help you too ;) Experience Experience would be a plus, but we are open to new grads that are looking for a permanent dental office.
