About us We are a team-oriented practice who are willing to help the patients and other team members in any way possible. We provide quality dental care in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere and are professionals who enjoy working together while providing optimal care for each patient. We've been here for several years and have more than doubled our growth since we started. Our team has grown as well. Our practice was rooted in Nacogdoches decades prior. This has allowed us to move forward with an updated and more contemporary office style. We are seeking a Dental Hygienist who is dedicated to helping patients maintain their dental health and who understands how important it is to be patient and kind. The ideal candidate for this position is organized, motivated, professional and hardworking. A successful Dental Hygienist will enjoy helping patients achieve good oral health and be an effective team member of a growing dental care office.
Responsibilities:
Keep accurate records of patients' dental histories. Review x-ray results and dental records to determine next course of treatment. Provide additional cleaning services to patients who are in need of them; educate patients about proper oral hygiene techniques; and provide other administrative services. Disinfect the clinic after the completion of a dental procedure or the end of a patient's appointment. Communicate with dentists, dental assistants, and other staff members to coordinate treatment plans, schedules, and any other information that is relevant to the patient's appointment. Use dental instruments during procedures to ensure minimal discomfort for the patient.
