Key Responsibilities:
Provide clinical oral hygiene services including prophylaxis, scaling, sealants, fluoride treatments, and radiographs Perform comprehensive oral hygiene assessments using established clinical standards Accurately document patient care and treatments in dental records Educate patients on oral health, hygiene practices, and disease prevention Conduct oral hygiene classes and provide individualized patient counseling Support dental health education initiatives, including student or community presentations Perform procedures as delegated by the Dental Director in accordance with state regulations and protocols Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and clinical standards Participate in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient clinical environment Support daily operational workflows within the dental department Perform additional duties as assigned within scope
What You Bring:
High school diploma or GED Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program (Associate's or Bachelor's degree) Active and current Registered Dental Hygienist license Current CPR/BLS certification Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds Strong attention to detail and clinical knowledge in dental hygiene practices Team-oriented mindset with adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced setting Professionalism and ability to handle sensitive patient situations
Preferred:
