We're passionate about providing excellent dental care while making sure our patients feel comfortable, heard, and well taken care of. As a hygienist on our team, you'll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients, educate them about their oral health, and be an important part of their overall dental experience. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in what they do, and wants to grow alongside a fun and supportive team. Responsibilities Provide thorough, gentle dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing. Take necessary dental X-rays while keeping patients comfortable and safe. Review medical histories, take vital signs, and assess patients' current oral health. Educate patients about their oral health and treatment recommendations. Help patients understand their treatment plans, including treatment plan preparation and presentation. Encourage patients with practical, easy-to-understand tips for maintaining great oral health at home. Provide clear post-treatment instructions and answer patient questions. Keep accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation. Follow infection control and sterilization protocols to help maintain a safe and clean environment. Skills & Qualifications Current Utah Hygiene license. Comfortable using dental software for charting, documentation, and scheduling. Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, and preventive care. Confident and comfortable taking dental X-rays. Warm, friendly communication style and the ability to build genuine relationships with patients. Someone who enjoys educating patients and helping them feel confident about their dental health. Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety and confidentiality. A positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team! Why Join Us?
