Job Description

Dental Hygienist
  • Cosmetic Focused Job Description:
    Looking for an experienced Dental Hygienist, at a dynamic, cosmetic focused practice.
•
Part Time:
MONDAYS AND WEDNESDAYS
(Full schedule/Single booked to ensure quality patient care.) Founded on innovation and superior patient care, we're looking for motivated applicants with the desire to challenge themselves within an exclusive, highly professional atmosphere.
Compensation:
Starting at $46 per hr.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare treatment room by adhering to protocols and procedures
  • Comfortable recommending fluoride to all patients for optimal cavity prevention
  • Proficient in impressions and radiology
  • Detect disease by examining gums, screening for oral cancer, and assessing levels of periodontal disease
  • Educate patients about good oral hygiene including plaque control and postoperative instructions
  • Administer anesthetics
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications; Cosmetic and restorative familiarity preferred
  • Pre-qualify Invisalign consultations
  • Efficient/thorough Doctor hand-off and assessing oral healthcare needs
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Preferred 1+ year of registered dental hygiene experience
  • Open Dental software experience (preferred)
  • Highly motivated self-starter
  • Patient relations/customer service oriented
  • Professional language/dental terminology
Work Days/Hours:
  • Monday and Wednesday (Hours 7:45am-5:00pm; Closed for lunch daily between 1:00pm
  • 2:00pm)
  • Part-time position
Education:
  • Bachelor of Applied Science:
    Dental Hygiene
  • Dental hygienist state license
Certification:
  • Radiology (required/current)
  • BLS/CPR (required/current)
  • Maintain annual HIPAA, Infection Control, and OSHA training
