Responsibilities:
  • to render to all patients the best possible prophylaxis treatment
  • to educate patients regarding periodontal conditions as well as preventative and maintenance measures such as flossing and proper brushing techniques
  • to help the Doctor enlighten and educate patients regarding dental treatment needed to obtain ideal dental health
  • Thorough prophylaxis and periodontal maintenance
  • Periodontal charting and recognizing disease progression
  • Digital radiography proficiency
  • Patient education (home care coaching, prevention mindset)
  • Comfort with sealants, fluoride, and non-surgical periodontal therapy
  • Familiarity with your practice software (or ability to learn quickly)
  • Strong infection control habits
Qualifications:
  • Positive, dependable, and willing to adapt/learn personality.
  • Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license through the Utah Division of Professional Licensing
  • Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Local anesthesia license
  • Previous dental experience (education/training or work-related) necessary.
  • Dentrix and Dexis knowledge is a plus.
Full/Part-time position:
  • 3 or 4 days a week available.
Current Office Hours:
M & T:
8am-5pm,
W:
7am-2:30pm, and
Th:
7am-12pm
Pay:
$40.00
  • $45.
00 per hour
