We are a small boutique dental clinic seeking a talented hygienist to join our team in a part-time capacity (two days a week) or full-time (four days a week). The days that are available are Wednesday and Thursday on a part-time basis or Monday through Thursday on a full-time basis. Our clinic is open from 8 am to 6 pm Monday through Thursday. New graduates encouraged to apply! We have an excellent, close-knit team that works in an even paced environment. The clinic has 4 operatories with two of them dedicated to hygiene. Both hygiene operatories are equipped with piezo and cavitron units. A dental assistant is available to aid you throughout your day as well. We do single column hygiene with one-hour blocks for traditional re-care appointments and extended time blocks for SRPs. We currently have two hygienists working part-time as it compliments their work/life balance schedules. We are very flexible and are willing to discuss best schedule that works for you! If you have a passion for quality dental care and patient comfort, then we would like to meet you! Typical job duties involve following proper hygiene protocol, advocating the importance of oral hygiene, providing periodontal care (Prophy/PMR/SRPs), taking digital X-rays, applying fluoride, and sterilization of instruments. In addition, must be able to perform scaling and root planing, review and record medical/dental histories, maintain digital patient records, and to facilitate the dentist's diagnosis and treatment recommendations. Must be comfortable using computers and technology. The ideal candidate will have the ability to project positivity and a warm, compassionate, caring professional demeanor. Requirements for this job include a Bachelor's or Associate's degree from an ADA accredited dental hygiene program, a valid and current Washington state RDH license, and current CPR certification.
