We believe we have the best staff and patients in town. Things that make us awesome Located in North Spokane, we are a community focused office. We live and work in North Spokane, where the patients are our neighbors, and our neighbors are our friends. Our dentist is quick, personable and on-time with his hygiene checks. We have a full staff of assistants who help with flipping rooms and charting. We celebrate and maximize each others strengths. We are proud of our work culture. We have not had an opening for a new hygienist in over 3 years, but with doctor looking to grow the practice we now have a rare opportunity to add a full-time hygienist. Responsibilities Show up with positivity for our patients and staff. Perform dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to maintain optimal oral health. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical history, vital signs, and dental charts to inform treatment plans. Take imaging such as X-rays and pano while adhering to all safety protocols and infection control procedures. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and dietary recommendations. Review and update medical records accurately within Dentrix. Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques to protect patient confidentiality and prevent infection. Qualifications Valid state license as a Dental Hygienist. Proven experience in dental office settings with knowledge of general dentistry procedures. Familiarity with dental terminology, medical terminology, and documentation review processes. Proficiency in EMR, we use Dentrix. Strong understanding of infection control protocols, anatomy knowledge, and aseptic techniques. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately. Benefits Full time (4 days per week) staff are eligible for PTO, Health insurance, 401K Matching, in-office dental care and 6 paid holidays. Part time (2-3 days per week) staff are eligible for 3 paid holidays, in-office dental benefit. Interviews Working interviews are available 7-4:30 July 8, 15 or 16th.
